Lowell High School
Lowell has an additional application. On the SFUSD application it must be listed as your first choice. After submitting the SFUSD application and the Lowell application you have to write an additional in school essay. You will not be notified of the essay prior to the essay date. You will be informed when you will have to write the essay.
In order to eligible for admission to Lowell you must be a resident of San Francisco. If you attend MLK on an inter-district transfer you are not eligible to apply.
On the Lowell application, please make sure to follow directions.
Fill out the top part with your name, HO #, and other information (Print clearly, blue/black ink). On the bottom check off the questions.
There are three questions, for each question, write please see attached and type your answer on separate paper.
If you do not know if you receive Section 8, Cal Works , etc, please ask your parents/guardians.
