High School Applications--Important Information

In October San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD)will be mailing a high school  application to you.Make sure San Francisco Unified School District has your correct address on file.  If you are not sure please check with the counseling office. If you move or MLK has an incorrect address on file your parent/guardian must go to 555 Franklin (SFUSD District Office) to correct it. Your parent/guardian must bring 2 forms of a proof of address (lease, PG&E bill, driver's license, etc.) 

You have seven choices of high schools.  You must rank order the high schools you wish to attend.  

Hand in your application early, you are more likely to be placed into your first choice. 

Print clearly, blue or black ink.  Please follow the directions of the application and besides writing the names of the high school, you must write the high school number. Numbers are located on the application.
If you are interested in applying to Lowell, LOWELL MUST BE YOUR FIRST CHOICE. You must fill out a separate application as well as the SFUSD application. 

If you are interested in School of the Arts (SOTA), you must file a separate application as well as the SFUSD high school application.
